Old Woman Killed For Her Money?

81 year old Enid Beckford was reportedly shot and killed by gunmen at her home in Bamboo district, Burnt Savannah, in Westmoreland yesterday morning, and the police are reportedly probing the possibility that her death is linked to her being granted $1.5 million through a recent court case.

According to reports, residents of the community heard explosions at approximately 3 a.m. and alerted the police. Upon their arrival, the police found the woman’s body with several gunshot wounds. She was rushed to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where she died.

Father Chops His Own Son To Death

A 52 year old man is behind bars facing murder charges, after he reportedly chopped his son to death during a their home in Orange Hill district, Westmoreland last night.

Dead is 29 year old Denville Woolery. According to reports, at about 6:30 p.m. yesterday, father and son were at home and had a dispute. During the dispute, the father reportedly used a machete to chop his son, who died on the spot.

Man Accused Of Stabbing His Own Brother To Death Over Bleach

34 year old Mark Green, of a Trelawny address, is in police custody at this time, after he reportedly stabbed and killed his own brother, 32 year old Lesroy Green, on Sunday (June 13).

According to police reports, the two had an altercation over bleach, with Mark accusing Lesroy of using his bleach. Mark then allegedly used a sharp object to stab Lesroy, who died on the spot. Unconfirmed reports indicate also, that Mark had dropped out of University, after developing a mental illness.

Man Allegedly Kills His Own Cousin

The police in Wait-A-Bit, Trelawny, have reportedly arrested and charged a man for the murder of his own cousin during a domestic dispute in the quiet farming community of Highgate Hall, which is located near the Trelawny/Manchester parish border. The deceased has been identified as Merrick Robinson, while the police have accused his cousin, Hansol Hanson, of being the killer.

According to police reports, some time yesterday afternoon, the cousins – who lived in separate houses on the same premises – had a dispute over water. The two reportedly brandished knives, and stabbed each other. Both were taken to the hospital, where Robinson was pronounced dead, and Hanson admitted under police guard.

22 Children Murdered In Jamaica For The Year So Far

Just last night, nine-year-old Moesha Campbell, a student of the St Peter Claver Primary School, became the 22nd child to be murdered in Jamaica for the year to date. She died in hospital last night, after doctors spent more than three hours trying to save her life.

According to reports, Moesha and other children were playing in a yard on Wavell Avenue off Waltham Park Road in Kingston when gunshots were heard. She was discovered with a bullet wound to the head.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that she was killed during a crossfire after several men had an altercation nearby.

Man Allegedly Clubs Sister To Death

29 year old Fitzroy ‘Te Te’ Daley, an ex-convict who is reportedly of unsound mind, was arrested and charged with murder yesterday, after he allegedly used a stick to club his sister to death during a dispute over ownership of a houses that had belonged to their late father. The deceased has been identified as 35 year old Annette Daley Peralto of Grange Hill in Westmoreland.

According to reports, at approximately 11:30 a.m. yesterday, Daley became enraged after family members agreed that one of his father’s two houses was to be passed on to his bigger sister. Although he had already occupied one of his father’s houses, Daley reportedly expressed that he (instead of his sister) should also be given the newer structure.

He then reportedly grabbed a stick, and used it to bash the back of his sister’s neck. She collapsed, and before she could be assisted, Daley reportedly used the stick to hit her repeatedly.

Four Slashed & Stabbed To Death In Spanish Town

Jamaica’s love affair with murder, death and mayhem continued yesterday, as four persons (three men and a woman) were savagely murdered in the ‘Backlands’ community of Spanish Town early yesterday morning. The four have been identified as 34-year-old David ‘Te Te’ Williams, 29 year old Clayton Simpson, 45-year-old Garnett Greg and Sandra Wint, a 42-year-old mother of eight.

According to police reports, at approximately 5:30 a.m. yesterday, a group of men invaded the community, and dragged Williams and Wint from their house. The men then reportedly ambushed Simpson and Greg, who were on their way to work. All four were taken into the bushes where they were gagged and their throats slashed. They were also stabbed.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the victims, who all lived close to the section of the community near several trees and a river, were attacked by men from a neighbouring community, and that the attacks may have been linked to an ongoing feud in the March Pen Road area.

Residents have described the victims of yesterday’s attack as hard-working and peaceful.

Another 5 Year Old Murdered

Just days after 5 year old Christina Salmon, was brutally shot and killed by gunmen in Glendevon, St. James, another 5 year old has been viciously murdered.

5 year old Evan Spencer was reportedly found dead by his father, shortly after 2:30 yesterday morning at their home in Frankfield, Clarendon. His throat had been slashed while he slept. The boy’s father, who had reportedly gone to a nearby shop, returned to see a man running from his house, and discovered his son’s lifeless body sprawled in a pool of blood.

The May Pen Police are investigating the incident.

Gunmen Shoot Up Family Car; 5 Year Old Girl Killed

A five year old girl, Christina Salmon, was brutally shot and killed by gunmen in Glendevon, St. James yesterday, after her father dared to drive their family car through a blockade, and it was sprayed with bullets.

According to police reports, at approximately 8:30 a.m. yesterday, the father was transporting his two daughters to school. While traveling along Felicity Road in the dreaded crime-plagued community of Glendevon, he slowed to navigate debris which had been used to create a blockade, but as he did this, several gunmen mercilessly sprayed their vehicle with bullets, injuring all three.

The father, who had been shot in the mouth and neck, managed to drive the car with his blood-drenched daughters to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where Christiana was pronounced dead, and he and the other child were treated. Their conditions were said to be serious.

Female Shotta Being Sought For Murder

The police are reportedly seeking a female ‘shotta’, a woman who they suspect staged a daring early morning gun attack in Havendale, St. Andrew yesterday. The attack left 37 year old Horace Parkes (of a Lawrence Tavern address) dead.

According to police reports, at approximately 8 a.m. yesterday, Parkes was on Vermont Avenue in Havendale. A motorbike with a male rider and a female pillon rider reportedly pulled up, and it is allegedly that the pillon rider alighted, pulled a gun, and shot Parkes three times in the neck. He died on the spot. Four 9mm shell casings were found at the scene.
