Vigilante Justice For Accused Child Molester

A man who the police say was accused of raping little boys in the Tivoli Gardens community of West Kingston, was found with a single gunshot wound to the head on Bustamante Highway at about 11:40 pm last night. The man was identified as 42 year old Winston Pennington, also called Black John.

According to the police, Pennington was shot at point-blank range. A spent shell and a 9mm round were reportedly found beside his body. Up to this afternoon, the police had no suspects and no leads in the murder, which is the first in the Tivoli Gardens area since its alleged Area Leader, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, was extradited last year.

Jungle Justice In Bronty District, Manchester

A man who was wanted by the Christiana police for shooting intent, was reportedly chopped to death by a mob last night in Bronty District, Manchester. A policeman was also injured during the incident.

According to reports, at approximately 7:55 p.m. last night, the man – Omar Levy of  Greendale District in Manchester – was spotted in Bronty District, but managed to elude the police. Residents of the area reportedly went in search of him, and when they found him, he was mobbed and chopped. Police officers attempted to rescue him, and one of the policemen was also injured.

Both the injured policeman and Levy were taken to the hospital, where Levy succumbed, and the policeman was treated and released.

Jungle Justice In St. Elizabeth – Robber Chopped To Death

One of two men who attempted a robbery last night in CarisBrook, St. Elizabeth, was reportedly chopped to death by a mob. The dead robber has been identified as 22 year old Almartino ‘Mitch’ McCubbin of White Hill in st. Elizabeth. An accomplice reportedly escaped.

According to police reports, at approximately 10 p.m. last night, McCubbin and another man (who was armed with a gun), attempted to rob a CarisBrook resident. A struggled ensued, and the resident managed to make an alarm. Concerned residents came to his assistance, and the robber with the gun reportedly opened fire and managed to escape.

McCubbin was caught by the residents who proceeded to beat and chop him to death. A resident was injured during the melee, and is now in hospital in stable condition.

Jungle Justice In Portmore

Sick and tired of robbers on bicycles who’ve been a menace to the community for some time now, on Thursday night (April 13), residents from the 5 East section of Greater Portmore in St. Catherine took things into their own hands, and dished out a serving of jungle justice to several armed men. One of the men was killed, while the others managed to escape.

According to reports, at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night, three men armed with guns and knives robbed several persons in the community. An alarm was made, and the residents reportedly attacked the men. One of the robbers was held, chopped and stabbed. He later died at the Spanish Town hospital. He is still unidentified at this time.

Jungle Justice For Man Who Killed His Grandmother

Just last week, we reported on a man who had killed his grandmother over a cellphone. It was ‘jungle justice’ for the man yesterday however, as he was set upon and hacked to death by irate residents in the farming community of Brampton in Trelawny.

According to police reports, the man, Jerome Campbell, had been on the run since he murdered his grandmother, and had attacked and inflicted machete wounds on a resident in the community over the weekend. Campbell’s run came to a violent end yesterday morning, as residents captured and hacked him to death.
