Three Months In Prison For Punching Mother In The Mouth
With Mother’s Day 2010 just a few days away, one Linval Johnson was sentenced to three months in prison, after pleading guilty in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court to punching his mother in the mouth.
On the day it question, Johnson and his mother reportedly had an argument, and it is said that she tried to hold him during the dispute. He however punched her in the mouth, causing her to fall to the ground.
After a short exchange with the judge, where Johnson stated that he expected to spend no time in jail for what he had done, the judge simply sentenced him to three months imprisonment at hard labour.
