Court Drama – Complainant Becomes Accused
It was high drama in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court recently, when Howard Maxwell, a complainant in a simply larceny case, suddenly found himself facing a charge of carnal abuse against his 18-year-old babymother, Sheena Walcott.
According to reports, Maxwell accused Walcott of stealing $25,000 from him, and she was brought to court on that charge. At the end of this case, Walcott was placed on probation for a year, and ordered to repay Maxwell his money. However, the plot thickened when court officials became suspicious about Walcott’s age and made checks. They found that she recently turned 18, and that her child was one year and 10 months old.
As a result of these findings, Maxwell was arrested and charged with carnal abuse (since he had impregnated Walcott before she was 16 years old). He was immediately taken into custody, and will return to court later this month.
