Jamaica Broilers Posts Good Results for 2008/2009
The Jamaica Broilers Group Ltd. posted good results for YE 2008/2009, with earnings per share rising 11.85% to J$0.69. The company increased revenues across all segments year-over-year.
Three of Jamaica Broilers’ four segments improved their earnings, with its Poultry segment continuing to account for the largest portion of profits (though its results declined 8.46%). The Feed & Farm Supplies segment saw the biggest rise, jumping 49.43% to JM$665.75M, while their Ethanol segment also improved 38.08%.
Jamaica Broilers’ shares added J$0.07 to close at $3.35 in yesterday’s Jamaica stock market trading.
